Project Bee
Bumble Bee is a female Golden Retriever born on February 1, 2018. She was rescued by As Good as Gold on February 4, 2023 and adopted into her furever home on October 10, 2023.
Bumble Bee Gets A Better Life
Bumble Bee spent the first five years of her life in a commercial breeding facility. When they no longer wanted her, they thankfully reached out to As Good as Gold who eagerly accepted her into their program.
As Good as Gold brought her in to see one of their approved vets. The vet did a complete intake exam. They brought her up to date on all of her vaccinations, gave her a microchip and scheduled a date for her to be spayed.
From there she was assigned to a foster home. As Good as Gold does not own a facility. That means every dog they accept into their program gets to live in a foster home. A home full of love and often with a resident dog.

Bumble Bee and Millie
Bumblee Bee gets to live with Millie. Millie is teaching Bumble Bee, Beatrice Beans, Bee how to be a dog. They eat together, hang out together and sleep together.
Millie shows Bee that humans are not always as she knew them. They can be loving and caring and treat you well.
